World Polo League plays its largest tournament on the sand during the Beach Polo World Cup from April 19-21. Held on Sundays with lavish champagne brunches at Wellington’s National Polo Center, the U.S. Open Polo Championship’s tournaments conclude April 21.

Hosted by Miami Dade College at various venues from April 5-14, the 41st Miami Film Festival screens approximately 180 films, half of which are directed by women, from 30 countries. Genres focus on narratives, documentaries and shorts. Along with 10 world premieres, highlights include respective opening and closing night films “Thelma” and “Ezra” and “The Idea of You,” a rom-com based on the eponymous novel.

Starting from Historic Virginia Key Beach Park, participants will traverse the landscapes of Key Biscayne and enjoy scenic waterfront views throughout the run – with most of the route hugging the shimmering coastline. This out-and-back course features some dirt roads and paths, adding a touch of adventure to the race. Remember to register in advance to take part in the thrill of the run.
